Taylor Bridge Reserve is a small park found underneath the Walter Taylor Bridge off Wharf Street in the suburb of Chelmer, Brisbane. The small park backs onto the Brisbane River and provides visitors with a small playground area, picnic tables and barbeque facilities.
The playground area at the park is covered by a shade sail and includes a small play hut with tunnel and slide, swings and bouncy chairs. The picnic tables and barbeque facilities are located close by. The area has also been fenced off from the Brisbane River for a little extra safety for children.
Fishing is also possible from the banks of the park into the Brisbane River, especially from underneath the Walter Taylor Bridge.
A small car park is found at the park and can accommodate around 5 cars and Indooroopilly Railway Station is located on the opposite side of the Walter Taylor Bridge providing easy access via public transport to the area. For more information on public transport please visit Translink.
