The Brisbane Met Office is forecasting widespread rain across much of eastern Australia this week. This is an unusually wet spell for this time of year, and could lead to flooding. Showers and thunderstorms will be present over most of eastern NSW and central Queensland, while the Central Coast will also experience some storms.
