2. It’s a beach city
Queensland’s sunny capital of Brisbane is a place designed for leisurely strolls, leisurely river ferries rides and refreshing beers enjoyed on subtropical sandy beaches. If you’re seeking private paradises or somewhere for the kids to build incredible sandcastles, Brisbane has beachy adventures galore.

Public transportation in Brisbane is efficient and safe, with drivers and operators prioritising passenger safety. To provide peace of mind for commuters, train stations offer call boxes to report non-urgent crimes directly to police.
Eatons Hill, situated to the northwest of Melbourne CBD, features low population densities that contribute to its safety. Furthermore, this neighbourhood enjoys strong community bonds. Last year alone only 132 crimes were reported here.
5. It’s a big city
Brisbane was an integral part of Australia’s development as a nation, hosting both the 1982 Commonwealth Games and 1988 World’s Fair (Expo 88). Furthermore, Brisbane served as General Douglas MacArthur’s South West Pacific headquarters during WWII.
City Botanic Gardens at Gardens Point and Roma Street Parkland. Victoria Park at Herston and Spring Hill; New Farm Park; Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens are also widely known in Brisbane, providing ample public transit options and creating a clean city centre environment.
