Brisbane offers visitors plenty of attractions for exploration. From shopping, taking in views from Story Bridge or experiencing its vibrant art scene – Brisbane offers something for everyone. Renowned parks such as Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary allow visitors to view native Australian animals up close, while Brisbane Botanic Gardens feature lush lawns and riverside pathways shaded by fig trees with tranquil ponds scattered among lush lawns dotted by serene ponds – there’s something here for all visitors to discover in Brisbane.
The City Hall Museum of Brisbane is an attraction where visitors can witness artifacts such as a jar full of severed fingers that were purportedly cut off by convicts, as well as Sir Thomas Brisbane’s own telescope (200 years old!). New Farm, known as ‘the bohemian heart of Brisbane’, features microbreweries and industrial warehouse-turned-performing arts spaces. Eat Street North Shore is an upcycled container wharf where fairy lights illuminate alleyways lined with restaurants, bars and shops offering international street food as well as cocktails in colorful shipping containers.
