The Queens Pride Parade is back
The second oldest Pride parade in New York City returns for its 33rd year, beginning at noon on 37th Avenue between 89th and 75th Street in Jackson Heights and ending with a Multicultural Festival that features over 140 groups.
This annual march aims to bring awareness about women’s and trans rights through noise, puppets and plenty of body positivity. Admission is free and open to all attendees.

At present, the complex is notorious for having packed escalators and an absence of accessibility for people with disabilities. Renovations will help address this problem by providing fully compliant transfers between A/C platforms, J/Z platforms and L platforms – an ADA standard requirement.
